Terms and Conditions

We try to keep admin down to minimum for all our sakes, but have found it is best just to set out some basic ground rules, so here they are:

  1. Payment
    1. Payments will be acknowledged as ‘received’ when funds are cleared into our account
    2. We ask for funds to be transferred in euros to our French bank account (details provided separately)
    3. We reserve the right to pass on any handling or international transfer charges incurred for payments made by other methods
    4. Charges for refund of damage deposit will be passed on.
  2. Cancellation
    1. 50% refund of deposit received are only available for cancellations made at least eight weeks before arrival date
  3. Arrival and Departure
    1. Unless by prior arrangement, arrival time is 1600hrs or after
    2. Please let our keyholder know at least a week ahead if you plan to arrive after 1800hrs
    3. We will provide details of our local representative and how to pick up the keys
    4. You should sign an inventory when you arrive
    5. If there are any problems with the property please alert our local representative immediately
    6. Unless by prior arrangement, departure time is 1000hrs
    7. Please leave the property clean and tidy
  4. Smoking is not permitted inside the property
  5. Pets are not permitted on the property
  6. Please observe any local rules and guidelines (eg. Use of swimming pool)
  7. We provide all bedding and towels
  8. Injuries, Losses etc
    1. We accept no responsibility for injuries or harm incurred whilst staying at our property
    2. We accept no responsibility for any theft or loss incurred whilst staying at our property
  9. The property is in a hilly area and there are a number of steps to and from the car park etc, so we do not recommend renting by the elderly or infirm
  10. Any descriptions given on websites, in emails or any other verbal or written form are given in good faith but do not form part of any contract or undertaking
  11. We reserve the right to withhold part or all of the Damage Deposit in the following circumstances:
    1. If any items on the inventory are missing, broken or damaged
    2. If the property is left in a state that requires cleaning or preparation before it is suitable for the next guest
    3. If smoking inside the property requires cleaning of furnishings or any other measures to remove the smell
    4. If there is any material damage other than reasonable wear-and-tear to the decorations, furnishings or fabric of the property
    5. If the phone has been used to make outgoing or accept payment for incoming calls
    6. If other proprietors or the Residents’ Association demand payment from us for damage or nuisance caused by you during your stay
  12. If for any reason we have to cancel a booking we will refund all funds that have been paid to date but accept no obligation or responsibility for any other costs howsoever incurred or implied.
